SYNOPSIS
This is the story of Pablo – a young man who lives on the streets of a small Mexican town. He is a destitute, broken alcoholic who no longer wants to live, for he blames himself for the death of Katiana, the woman he loved. His heart aches. Everyday, except Sunday, he walks into the desert, to the place he last saw her, and holds a revolver to his head – one bullet, five empty chambers. The gun never fires, and his torment will seemingly never end.
One day, however, things change. On his way to the desert, he encounters a wounded man on the path, who issues Pablo a dire warning: “Senor!, Do not go out this way! Terrible fates lay down this road!”
Pablo sees an opportunity to find his own death, but the world has a much bigger plan for him. Pablo is swept up in a remarkable adventure, meeting a cast of unforgettable characters, that lead him towards a greater meaning. Or at least, hopefully, a shred of understanding.
